Join a Growing Manufacturing Team
QuikCut is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler to join our team. If you enjoy staying active, operating equipment, and playing an important role in keeping production running efficiently, we'd love to meet you. As a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for organizing, moving, and delivering materials throughout our multi-building manufacturing facility. Your work directly supports production, helps maintain inventory accuracy, and ensures our customers receive high-quality products on time.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver materials to production areas to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials safely using large-scale forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements. Prepare and update material handling reports as required.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kanban, and Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory practices.
- Work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily production schedules.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Heavy Forklift Operator or similar position.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Forklift experience required; previous forklift certification is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday as well as climb in and out of large forklifts.
