Description

Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint.
Our client is creating a dedicated global tax function for the first time, and we're looking for an ambitious tax leader who wants the opportunity to build, influence and leave a lasting mark on a growing international business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll be the go-to tax expert across a global organisation spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Building a robust global tax framework, governance model and compliance strategy.
- Acting as the trusted adviser to the CFO and leadership team on all tax matters.
- Leading corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Supporting commercial decision-making, growth initiatives and international expansion.
- Managing relationships with external advisers and tax authorities.
- Overseeing tax reporting, audits, risk management and ongoing regulatory compliance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Able to demonstrate a professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Significant experience across corporate tax, international tax and indirect tax, ideally gained within financial services, professional services or consulting.
- Strong transfer pricing and multi-jurisdictional tax expertise.
- A track record of improving governance, controls and compliance frameworks.
- The confidence to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset and the ability to turn complex tax issues into practical business solutions.
