Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Contract) to join the team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and supporting the design and implementation of business solutions across our organization. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
- Lead and support the business continuity planning (BCP) processes, ensuring robust strategies are in place.
- Oversee financial budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Work alongside IT teams and vendors to support solution design and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
- Manage and prepare data for meaningful analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Take an active role in vendor management, including monitoring deliverables and building strong working relationships.
- Utilize technical tools such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft solutions to support process optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field is required. CPA qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar business analysis role, ideally within enterprise finance systems.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of business continuity planning (BCP).
- Strong experience in finance budgeting and consolidation processes.
- Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft tools for financial and system management purposes.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Knowledge of data preparation techniques and analysis to solve business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to support and lead UAT cycles effectively.
- A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong experience in vendor management processes.
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
