We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team as service technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on ice makers, fountain equipment, and frozen carbonated beverage systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration equipment, identifying the root cause of malfunctions
- Regular inspections are conducted to ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of refrigeration systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documentation of parts used and work performed
- Respond to service calls promptly, provide excellent customer service, and efficiently resolve issues
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete larger projects or complex repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with refrigeration systems
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as this position may require driving a company van to various job sites
- EPA certification and Refrigeration Certification- Ability to maintain, repair, and install various types of refrigeration equipment
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the trade, such as gauges, meters, torches, and welding equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Previous experience as a refrigeration technician or in a related field, such as appliance repair or mechanical maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
- Ability to climb up to 24' ladder and conduct roof work as required
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor
- Experience with basic hand tools and/or light installation preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
