Role Purpose
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to own defined workstreams or smaller projects within Global Business Services (GBS) transformation programmes.
You will:
- Turn agreed scope into delivered outcomes, owning plans and progress
- Work with international teams and PMO colleagues to resolve issues and deliver against agreed time, cost and quality limits.
- This role suits someone with project or transformation experience ready for greater delivery responsibility and is excited by the opportunity to build their career in an international setting, work in our flagship capability centres alongside experienced leaders, and work on more complex work and initiatives as their experience grows
What you will be doing:
- Own agreed deliverables and outcomes for defined workstreams or smaller projects within delegated scope, cost, time and quality limits.
- Own and maintain project plans for assigned projects or workstreams.
- Monitor delivery against agreed limits. Resolve issues and take corrective action, escalating exceptions and proposed changes to the Lead Project Manager.
- Coordinate activity across functional specialists, sending teams, delivery centres, the programme office, change teams, and service management teams.
- Support transition activity through mobilisation, design, knowledge transfer, readiness, go-live and stabilisation.
- Own and coordinate timely status updates. Maintain actions, risks, issues and dependencies registers
- Apply the GBS Stage Gate methodology and support associated governance reviews.
- Build strong working relationships across a complex, global stakeholder environment.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of GBS programme delivery standards and ways of working.
- Develop broader project management capability through progressively more complex delivery assignments.
Essential Experience
- Practical project, transition, or transformation experience, with evidence of personally owning defined delivery activities.
- Exposure to transition or significant business change - including at least one transition, migration, mobilisation or transformation project.
- Experience turning agreed scope into deliverables and coordinating plans, risks and dependencies across stakeholders.
- Able to organise work effectively, maintain momentum and follow through on commitments.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills with ability to escalate decisions where required
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working across functions and geographies in a matrix environment.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership rather than waiting to be directed.
- Able to work with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Motivated to develop a career in project/programme management.
Desirable experience
- GBS, Shared Services or GCC exposure.
- Experience of service transition, operating-model change and transformation.
- Familiarity with project planning, RAID, governance, reporting or stage-gate approaches.
- Experience scheduling in Microsoft Project (MSP) or an equivalent tool.
- Working towards a recognised PM qualification such as APM PMQ, PMP or PRINCE2
- 5+ years of professional experience
What do we offer:
- Annual bonus based on financial results and employee performance evaluation.
- Employer financed private healthcare at LuxMed for employees. Additional packages can be purchased.
- Group life insurance
- Subsidy for glasses/contact lenses worn for work, up to the amount of PLN 600 gross, every two years

- Internet and electricity allowance for remote work, in the amount of PLN 100 gross per month
- Increased funding for the Employee Capital Plans (PPK) program; Rolls-Royce Sp. z o.o. contributes 3% to this program
- Additional vacation days based on length of service
- Hybrid work model (min. 2 days from office)
- Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Work in a modern office located in the Krakow center – the Unity Tower (ul. Lubomirskiego 20)
