Operations Coordinator

General Job Description:

Works directly with the Director of Quality Control to ensure effective functioning of the facilities to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes to meet the needs of the company.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods across all departments and facilities.

· Supervise members of the Operation’s team, assigning members daily and weekly duties

· Researches vendors and ensure they are licensed with the State and are insured

· Point of contact between OWC and maintenance vendors

· Oversee all aspects of building maintenance 

· Overses the transportation program and ensures all transportation needs are met,fill in as a driver when needed

· Oversee the Building Fire safety, security and access programs

· OSHA Compliance Officer

o Develop, implement and oversee all OWC OSHA programs

· Work with department heads and senior management on all facility related concerns

· Researches and purchases cleaning and paper supplies for all facilities

· Maintain First Aid checklists and order supplies as needed

· Fulfills “Work Order” requests

· Monthly required DDS documenation on facility systems ie; water temps, freezer temps, vehicle reports etc.

· Participation in OWC fundraisers

· Other duties as they arise

· Be a team player

· Learn & follow all agency P&P

· Learn & follow all emergency & safety procedures for the agency

· Be involved in OWC fundraising efforts

· Perform other duties as they arise

· Maintain mutual respect & professionalism for all co-workers & individual’s daily

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field experience can take place of education

· Ability to negotiate with companies and people

· Ability to become and maintain CPR, First Aid, PMT certified

· Five years’ management experience

· Must be able to work flexible hours

· Must possess a valid driver’s license

· Must be able to pass Rideshare background check

· Must be willing to drive company vehicle

· Must have good written and verbal communication skills
