As a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Growth, you'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor, partnering with executive leaders, physicians, operational leadership, finance, strategy, legal, business analysis, and master facility planning teams to support enterprise growth.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Enterprise Growth Strategy
- Serve as a strategic advisor supporting enterprise growth priorities across the health system.
- Translate organizational strategy and annual business planning priorities into actionable growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand services, strengthen market position, improve patient access, and enhance long-term organizational sustainability.
- Develop strategic recommendations supported by market, financial, operational, and competitive analysis.
- Support enterprise growth initiatives from concept development through implementation.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business development opportunities aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Assess strategic partnerships, affiliations, joint ventures, and service expansion opportunities.
- Develop business cases and executive-level recommendations supporting growth investments.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in evaluating strategic opportunities.
- Support negotiations and relationship development with prospective partners as appropriate.
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Lead strategic assessment of merger, acquisition, affiliation, and partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate due diligence activities across operational, financial, clinical, legal, and strategic workstreams.
- Develop executive summaries and recommendations supporting investment decisions.
- Assist with transaction planning, integration readiness, and post-transaction implementation planning.
- Maintain awareness of healthcare industry consolidation trends and competitive activity.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis
- Monitor healthcare market trends, competitive activity, demographic changes, reimbursement dynamics, and emerging industry developments.
- Conduct market assessments identifying opportunities, risks, and strategic implications.
- Develop service line market analyses supporting growth planning and investment decisions.
- Utilize internal and external data sources to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic analyses.
Service Line Growth Planning
- Partner with service line and operational leaders to translate annual business plan priorities into actionable growth strategies.
- Facilitate structured planning sessions that identify strategic growth opportunities and measurable objectives.
- Challenge assumptions through market research, financial analysis, operational assessment, and competitive intelligence.
- Assist leaders in prioritizing initiatives based upon strategic value, organizational capacity, and financial return.
- Monitor progress of growth initiatives and provide ongoing strategic support.
Enterprise Growth Planning & Portfolio Support
- Support management of the enterprise growth opportunity pipeline.
- Maintain visibility into enterprise growth initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that communicate growth progress and organizational impact.
- Coordinate activities across Strategy, Finance, Operations, Business Analysis, Real Estate, Master Facility Planning, Legal, and other enterprise partners.
- Support preparation of materials for executive leadership review and strategic planning activities.
Enterprise Collaboration
Develop collaborative relationships with leaders throughout the organization to ensure enterprise alignment of growth initiatives, including:

- Business Analysis & Due Diligence

What You'll Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field, Required. Masters degree, desired
- Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare strategy, business development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, strategic planning, management consulting, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Experience developing executive-level analyses, recommendations, and business cases.
- Experience influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and evaluate complex business challenges.
- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
- Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
What's Available:
- FTE: 1.0 FTE
- Schedule: Days typically Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Location: This is a hybrid-eligible position for residents of WI, MN, and IA. While there is flexibility to work remotely, this role will require a regular onsite presence in La Crosse, WI and potentially Green Bay, WI. Light travel to other locations may also be needed to support business priorities and events.
