Manager, Capture & Proposal Operations
Are you a highly organized leader who thrives at the intersection of business development, project execution, and operational excellence? Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as our Manager, Capture & Proposal Operations, where you will lead the processes that help transform strategic opportunities into winning customer solutions.
In this high-visibility role, you will serve as the central point of coordination for proposal development, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) requests, capture support activities, and proposal governance. You will work closely with business development, engineering, finance, operations, contracts, program management, and executive leadership to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality customer responses.
What you'll do
- Lead and coordinate proposal, capture support, and ROM activities across the organization.
- Manage proposal schedules, milestones, reviews, and submission deadlines.
- Facilitate proposal kickoffs, status meetings, and executive reviews.
- Develop and maintain proposal governance processes, procedures, and approval workflows.
- Oversee quality assurance for proposals, ROMs, white papers, and customer-facing documents.
- Partner with stakeholders to prioritize resources across multiple opportunities.
- Maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and document repositories.
- Support bid/no-bid decisions, capture planning, and proposal execution strategies.
- Track risks, action items, and organizational capacity related to active pursuits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, metrics, and workflow automation opportunities.
What you need
- Strong project coordination, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills – required
- Exceptional written communication, editing, and quality review capabilities – required
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority – required
- Proposal management, capture management, program management, contracts, or business operations experience (7+ years) – required
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, government, technology, or related industries – required
- Proposal governance and process improvement experience – preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, GovWin, SharePoint, CRM, or proposal management tools – preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Program Management, or a related field – required

Salary Range:
$77,900.00-$103,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
