About this role in the team:

As an Implementation Manager at BVNK, you will own the successful implementation of customers onto the BVNK platform following commercial close and handoff from Solutions Engineering.

You will act as the primary implementation partner for the customer, coordinating technical integration, configuration, testing, dependencies, and internal stakeholders to move customers efficiently from signed contract to production go-live.

This role combines technical expertise, program management, and customer leadership. You will be accountable for maintaining implementation momentum, resolving blockers, managing risk, and ensuring customers launch successfully against clearly defined scope and timelines.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Own customer implementations from handoff by Solutions Engineering through successful production go-live.
• Establish and manage implementation plans, milestones, dependencies, responsibilities, and target launch dates.
• Lead customer implementation kickoffs and establish clear governance and ways of working for the delivery process.
• Guide customers through integration with BVNK’s APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and payment infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices throughout implementation while ensuring alignment with the solution agreed during the sales process.
• Coordinate testing, sandbox integration, configuration, certification, operational readiness, and production launch activities.
• Act as the primary point of coordination between customers and BVNK teams during implementation.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product, Compliance, Operations, and other internal teams to resolve implementation blockers and dependencies.
• Troubleshoot technical integration issues and coordinate escalation to specialist teams where required.
• Proactively identify risks to scope, timeline, or launch readiness and establish clear mitigation plans.
• Maintain clear communication with customer and internal stakeholders regarding implementation progress, risks, decisions, and next steps.
• Manage changes to implementation scope and ensure material changes are appropriately assessed and agreed.
• Ensure customer implementations meet BVNK’s technical and operational standards before production launch.
• Create repeatable implementation processes, playbooks, documentation, and best practices that improve time-to-live and scalability.
• Identify recurring implementation friction and provide structured feedback to Product, Engineering, and Solutions Engineering.
• Conduct a structured post-launch handoff to the appropriate ongoing customer owner once implementation objectives have been achieved.

What we need from you:

• Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, and software integrations.
• Experience in technical implementation, delivery, integration management, professional services, technical project management, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of payments infrastructure and payment flows; experience with stablecoins, digital assets, or crypto payment rails is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage complex customer implementations involving multiple technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to establish plans, manage dependencies, and drive customers and internal teams toward deadlines.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work effectively with Engineering and Product teams to resolve blockers.
• Excellent customer communication skills, including the ability to set expectations and manage difficult conversations when timelines or requirements change.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations.
• Ability to identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and maintain accountability across cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset focused on achieving successful customer outcomes and reducing time to value.
