Prep Academy Tutors of Boise is a private in-person tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average.
Job Summary
Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the Idaho curriculum, with a focus on elementary education and multiple subject areas.
Provide supplemental assignments and curriculum-based materials to students to help promote greater understanding of material.
Provide homeschool, remedial, enrichment, and curriculum development support for students.
Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and educational goals.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for teachers or soon to be teachers who can meet the following criteria:
- Availability during morning or daytime hours.
- Expertise or strong familiarity with elementary education and multiple subject areas, including math, science, reading, writing, and language arts.
- Experience with homeschooling, curriculum development, or creating individualized learning plans is strongly preferred.
- Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching elementary-aged students.
- Committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Enjoy working with students & families.
- Great communication skills.
- Located in the Caldwell/Nampa area or willing to travel more than 20 minutes to an assignment.

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:
- You hold a registration in good standing with the Idaho Department of Education.
- You are qualified to teach elementary education or multiple subjects.
- You are a current teacher candidate; pursuing a bachelor of education.
- You have experience developing curriculum or providing homeschool instruction.
- You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited University or College.
- You have an advanced degree with at least one year of tutoring experience.
