The Behavioral Health Float Pool consists of floating between Adult Behavioral Health, Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health, as well as the Behavioral Health unit in the Emergency Department.

What You'll Do in This Role:
- Deliver Comprehensive Care: Provide nursing care that is holistic, compassionate, and centered on the individual needs of each patient.
- Exercise Professional Autonomy: Take responsibility for your nursing practice by making informed decisions and promoting health, recognizing that quality care is a universal right.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team (Behavioral Health Technicians, Nursing Assistants, Health Unit Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Counselors, and Psychiatrists) to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data.
- Implement and Evaluate Care Plans: Develop tailored care plans, apply appropriate interventions, and continuously evaluate patient outcomes to enhance overall care quality.
This position will work the following:
- 0.7 FTE
- 8 Hour Shifts
- Day/Eve Rotation
- Every other weekend
- Additional $2.00 per hour upon hire into a float pool position
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
- Behavioral Health experience preferred
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to:
ADN: $7,500
BSN: $10,000
