Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We are nationally recognized for the high quality of our programs and comprehensive approach to serving youth. Whether you’re joining our administrative team, a Club team, or our Camp Mendocino team, you’ll be surrounded by enthusiastic, talented, and passionate colleagues who wake up every day ready to inspire young people to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do

As the Middle School Services Director at our Springer Clubhouse location, you will provide a critical continuum of services for 6th through 8th-grade members during a pivotal stage in their development. Guided by BGCSF's Success Equation and proven youth development strategies, you will collaborate with your Clubhouse team and citywide Middle/High School Directors to ensure middle schoolers excel academically, socially, and emotionally. • Build a Club culture rooted in social-emotional learning, diversity, inclusion, and support for learning differences.
    • Ensure active engagement in citywide BGCSF programs, events, and the "Optimal Club Experience" framework.
  • Outreach, Data & School Partnerships
    • Manage and interpret middle school attendance and participation data to drive continuous improvement and boost average daily attendance.
    • Implement proactive recruitment and retention strategies to maintain strong member participation.
    • Build collaborative relationships with school administrators and teachers; attend IEP meetings when applicable to support student success.
    • Prepare and submit all required program reports, grant documentation, and data metrics.
