We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who has the ability to multi-task and prioritize requests and responsibilities from both internal and external customers. This person will have a positive, helpful attitude that will easily translate to our customers, and will focus on supporting our Wave Armor brand.
 

JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative 

DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing

REPORTS TO: Customer Service Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Service Representative’s role is to collaborate with internal and external customers, diffuse tense interactions, and provide resolution to issues and inquiries. They will provide assistance with a positive attitude, have the ability to multi-task, prioritize requests, and whenever possible create a win-win scenario for our company and our customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for learning and understanding product knowledge to become a trusted advisor to our customers.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned book of business. This includes customers, business groups, dealers, distributors, etc.
• Process new sales orders and provide customers proactive shipping confirmation and status updates.
• Provide technical assistance for part number inquiries.
• Work with Field Account & Promotions Managers and Sales Managers to provide administrative sales support to the team.
• Ensure prompt and clear communication with stakeholders, providing rapid resolutions to issues and concerns.

EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of customer service and/or account management experience.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) and other similar software.

SOFT SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Demonstrated strong collaboration skills with internal and external customers.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular, predictable attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk about the facility as needed.
• Comfort and ability to be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, heat and cold.
