Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support business process analysis, idea development, process improvement, data analysis, and cross-functional initiatives.

This role will work closely with business leaders, project managers, and functional teams to evaluate current processes, identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and support implementation of new or enhanced business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage key business stakeholders.

• Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data.

• Analyze KPIs, financial reports, operational metrics, and other key performance indicators.

• Use data and analytics tools to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.

• Document current business processes and identify inefficiencies or unproductive practices.

• Develop and evaluate process improvement options.

• Support business process modeling and process redesign initiatives.

• Translate business needs into clear process, project, and operational requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between multiple business departments and functional teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation for projects, processes, business requirements, and operational changes.

• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to support implementation.

• Assist with idea generation, development, and execution of business improvement initiatives.

• Recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and business performance.

• Support adoption of improved processes across departments.

Required Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, business operations, or a related field.

• Strong experience with business process analysis and improvement.

• Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience analyzing KPIs, operational data, and financial information.

• Strong documentation and business process mapping skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with business leaders, project managers, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex business initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with business process modeling tools and methodologies.

• Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Utility, energy, natural gas, or large corporate environment experience.

• Experience supporting enterprise process transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
