What You Will Do
- Lead and supervise a team of Assistant Foremen (AFM)/Cell Leaders, Workshop Engineers (WE) & technicians.
- Ensure AFM, WE & technicians perform disassembly, inspect, repair and assembly functions associated with modules, parts, components or accessories in our OEM MRO facility.
- ·Ensure the work carried out on engine parts are done per current approved technical data and standard work processes.
- Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work.
- Ensure Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on equipment is performed on time.
- Assist the AFM in their day-to-day operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
- Attending Tier1 and 2 meetings.
- Comply and adhere to the code of ethics as well as EH&S regulations, standards, requirements and procedures.
- Carry out SAP transaction.
- Perform cross-functional jobs within the department if required.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines Experience in aircraft engine workshop operations & procedures.
- 3 years of relevant operation experience and man management in the aerospace industry.
- Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.
- Knowledge of SAP and Solumina.
- Experience in PW4000 and PW1100 engine model and completed engine type course.
