Description
The National Sales Executive report to and works collaboratively with the VP of Business Development to grow sales and to build new client relationships within a designated region, product, and/or assignment. This position will be the front-line contact between the company and the prospective customer.
What You'll Do
- Build strong relationships with prospects; maintain/build active pipeline of qualified new business leads
- Make frequent prospect visits; follow-up on proposals and quotations; perform basic relationship building on a daily basis; travel up to 60%
- Provide weekly reports to the VP of Business Development regarding prospective client pipeline
- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry groups
- Negotiate and close agreements with prospective clients
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Schedule prospect site visits appropriately ensuring efficient use of time and resources
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field of study from an accredited college or university
- 10 -15 years of workers’ compensation, group health, or auto liability market experience
- 5 – 7 years of PPO, Bill Review, or Specialty Network experience is preferred
