Join us as an Injury Prevention Coordinator in Brewster, NY and help employees stay healthy through ergonomic evaluations, movement coaching, stretching programs, and workplace wellness initiatives.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, will be required to travel to multiple locations
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and two Thursdays per month- Brewster, NY
Every Tuesday- Orange, CT
Two Thursdays each month split: One Thursday at Berkshire, MA, and one Thursday at Clifton Park/Mechanicville, NY.
Key Accountabilities
Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.
Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process, manages and reports data for their assigned plant.
Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Associates Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field, or licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
2+ years’ experience in health and fitness.
Preferred
Personal Training Certification.
Understanding of Biomechanics.
Understanding of Occupational Safety.
Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing).
