Position Overview
The New Shop Supply Chain Coordinator will support the seamless delivery of products and supplies to new shops, ensuring stock levels align with opening schedules and operational needs. This role plays a critical part in coordinating product distribution, managing partner performance, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration across departments. The Coordinator will work closely with external partners, internal teams, and new shop stakeholders to ensure products are delivered on time and in full to enable a smooth opening process.
Key Result Areas
Product Distribution Support for New Shops
Coordinate timely deliveries by working closely with distribution partners and internal teams to define delivery timelines, ensuring that products and supplies are delivered on time and in full for each new shop opening
Monitor inventory and replenishment by tracking inventory levels and proactively addressing stock outs or delays during critical phases leading up to and following the shop opening
Collaborate with vendors to assess storage requirements and develop plans to accommodate any special storage needs for new shops
Proactively identify and resolve issues related to product delivery, inventory, and partner performance to ensure timely and accurate support for new shop openings
Continuously analyze current processes and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of new shop openings from a supply chain perspective
Distributor Scorecard Management
Track distributor performance and assist in developing and managing scorecards to monitor the performance of our distributors, ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries and support
Foster positive relationships with distribution partners, providing feedback on performance and addressing any gaps in service to meet operational goals
Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as the key liaison between the supply chain team, coaches, shop operators/franchisees, and other internal departments to ensure product and supply timelines are met to support shop opening dates
Work closely with the systems, field operations, and coaching teams to analyze ongoing ordering habits, ensuring accuracy in shop orders and identifying areas for process improvement
Help assess when changes are necessary for a shop’s delivery frequency or schedule and coordinate with relevant teams to adjust accordingly
Collaborate with Field Standards to ensure that all ordering and distribution-related training materials and tools are up to date
Job Qualifications
Associates degree, two years of administrative experience, or two years of Dutch Bros leadership experience (assistant manager+), required
Competent in Microsoft and email communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, strong interpersonal, and analytical skills
A positive attitude and demonstrated dependability
A high degree of personal organization and self-management
Comfortable working within tight deadlines and able to produce work within a short time span where demands are liable to change at short notice
Excellent social skills; able to operate with diplomacy, tact, and empathy
Location Requirement:
This role is located in Tempe, AZ. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Physical Requirements
In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions
Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings
Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels
Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds
Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.
