Senior Project Manager Digital Payments

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a consultancy mission at a client site. You will be part of the Sales Solutions department, reporting to the Manager Drive Sales Solutions. The primary mission of the department is to ensure commercial revenue by providing reliable sales IT solutions. We develop, operate, and maintain all sales IT solutions that enable the client to acquire, use, and manage their transport tickets as efficiently as possible, in close collaboration with business partners and other public transport operators in Belgium. We propose and develop a strategic vision for the digital evolution of ticketing.

Your Role:

The client is modernizing its payment ecosystem to support the evolution of its sales channels, the development of EMV payment, future Account Based Ticketing (ABT) services, and the digitalization of the customer experience.

In this context, the current acquiring market is expiring and requires the definition and implementation of a new strategy covering acquiring services, PSP (Payment Service Provider), and all associated services.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead two complementary strategic initiatives:

• The renewal project of Acquiring and PSP services, from needs definition and market preparation to implementation and transition to the future system;
• The PCI-DSS certification project of the existing payment ecosystem, aiming to manage compliance and establish an approach to sustain future annual certifications.

You will be responsible for the overall management of these two initiatives, from the scoping and needs analysis phases to their implementation. For the renewal of Acquiring and PSP services, you will notably lead the preparation of specifications, the awarding process, technical deployment, and operational implementation of the future system.

Mission Scope:

• Analysis of the current payment system and existing contracts;
• Needs analysis: gather, consolidate, and challenge business, technical, financial, and regulatory needs from various stakeholders;
• Definition of the target Acquiring and PSP strategy;
• Preparation of decision documents and associated public markets;
• Coordination with Purchasing, Finance, Legal, Security, Architecture teams, and stakeholders involved in the STIB payment processes;
• Management of the impact analysis on STIB's sales and payment systems;
• Definition of the target architecture for payment flows;
• Coordination of transition activities between existing payment services and the future Acquiring and PSP system;
• Management of risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines;
• Preparation and monitoring of transition, integration, testing, and production phases;
• Governance: lead project committees and steering committees, and ensure regular reporting to Management;
• Project management of the PCI-DSS certification initiative within the payment scope, including coordination of various internal and external stakeholders, monitoring compliance actions, risks, and dependencies;
• Establishment of a structured and sustainable approach to effectively prepare and manage future annual PCI-DSS certifications, as well as incorporating these requirements into the evolution of the payment ecosystem.

Experience & Key Skills:

This mission requires confirmed experience in managing complex projects, electronic payment services, public markets, supplier management, and environments subject to significant regulatory and security constraints.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in managing complex projects, including at least 3 years in the payments field (PSP, Acquiring, Electronic Payment).
• Experience in managing PCI-DSS compliance projects or comparable initiatives in the payments domain, including coordination of multiple stakeholders and monitoring remediation plans.
• Business Expertise: Excellent understanding of the payment ecosystem (acquiring, payment schemes, PSP, financial reconciliation, PCI-DSS).
• Procurement/RFP: Proven experience in drafting specifications and managing large-scale tenders.
