Matriarch Longevity
Aesthetic Registered Nurse – Integrative Aesthetics & Skin Longevity
Location: Spring Hill/Columbia
Employment Type: Part-Time, or Contract (Based on Availability)
Specialty: Medical Aesthetics, Skin Rejuvenation, PRP, Microneedling, & Integrative Skin Health
Position Overview
At Matriarch Longevity, we believe healthy, beautiful skin begins with understanding the whole person.
Our approach to aesthetics goes beyond traditional cosmetic treatments. We recognize that skin health is influenced by hormonal changes, nutrition, inflammation, stress, sleep, environmental factors, and the natural aging process.
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and knowledgeable Aesthetic Registered Nurse who shares our philosophy of helping women age confidently and naturally through individualized, evidence-informed aesthetic treatments and integrative wellness.
The ideal candidate has several years of experience in medical aesthetics and understands both the clinical and cosmetic aspects of skin health. We are looking for someone comfortable providing a comprehensive range of aesthetic services, from customized facials and advanced skincare to microneedling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments, injectable aesthetics, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
Dual licensure as a Tennessee Registered Nurse and Licensed Aesthetician is strongly preferred, as we are seeking a versatile professional who can bridge traditional esthetics and advanced medical aesthetic services.
We are especially interested in someone who understands the unique changes women experience during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond, including changes in collagen production, elasticity, hydration, pigmentation, and skin texture.
This individual will collaborate closely with our medical providers to develop personalized skin health programs, incorporating thoughtfully selected skincare products, provider-prescribed compounded topical formulations, and evidence-informed rejuvenation therapies.
We are not looking for someone who simply performs procedures or sells skincare products. We want a clinician who takes the time to listen, understands each woman's concerns, and helps her achieve healthy, natural-looking results while supporting long-term skin wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Aesthetic & Skin Health Services
- Conduct thorough aesthetic consultations and skin assessments, evaluating skin texture, hydration, elasticity, pigmentation, sensitivity, and visible signs of aging.
- Develop individualized aesthetic treatment plans in collaboration with medical providers when medical assessment or authorization is required.
- Perform customized facials, restorative skincare treatments, appropriate exfoliation, and other professional aesthetic services within authorized scope.
- Provide advanced skin rejuvenation treatments, including microneedling, PRP-associated treatments, and injectable PRP when appropriately trained and authorized.
- Utilize red light therapy and other approved noninvasive skin rejuvenation modalities according to safety standards and treatment protocols.
- Incorporate facial massage and appropriate lymphatic techniques to enhance the client experience.
- Provide individualized pre-treatment and post-treatment education, monitor outcomes, and recognize potential complications.
- Maintain strict infection prevention, aseptic technique, and patient safety standards.
Medical Aesthetics, PRP & Advanced Rejuvenation
- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and experience with advanced aesthetic procedures, including microneedling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and injectable treatments.
- Perform authorized PRP-related procedures, including blood collection, preparation, and administration when permitted by professional scope, physician delegation, and established protocols.
- Understand facial anatomy, vascular structures, injection safety, contraindications, and the recognition and escalation of aesthetic complications.
- Collaborate with medical providers to determine appropriate treatment options based on individual patient needs and clinical considerations.
- Maintain competency in advanced aesthetic techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
- Support the development of new aesthetic services as Matriarch Longevity continues to expand.
Integrative Skin Health & Hormonal Aging
- Understand the relationship between hormonal changes, aging, nutrition, stress, sleep, and skin health.
- Educate patients on common skin changes associated with perimenopause and menopause, including dryness, loss of elasticity, changes in collagen, pigmentation, and adult acne.
- Collaborate with Matriarch's hormone health and functional medicine providers when skin concerns may benefit from additional medical evaluation.
- Incorporate a whole-person perspective into aesthetic consultations and individualized skincare recommendations.
- Support patients in developing sustainable skincare routines that complement their overall health and wellness goals.
- Emphasize prevention, skin barrier protection, sun safety, and healthy aging.
Medical-Grade Skincare & Compounded Formulations
- Work collaboratively with Matriarch's medical providers to support personalized skincare programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical-grade skincare ingredients, including retinoids, antioxidants, peptides, growth-factor-related products, and barrier-supporting formulations.
- Educate patients on provider-prescribed compounded topical formulations, including peptide-containing products when clinically appropriate.
- Understand ingredient quality, product compatibility, skin sensitivities, and potential adverse reactions.
- Prioritize skincare products with transparent ingredient lists, appropriate safety testing, and evidence supporting their intended use.
- Avoid unnecessary products and overly aggressive treatments when gentler, effective alternatives are appropriate.
- Maintain awareness of emerging skincare research while critically evaluating claims and supporting evidence.
Holistic & Restorative Aesthetic Care
- Incorporate appropriate noninvasive wellness modalities, including red light therapy, facial massage, and relaxation-focused treatments.
- Educate patients on the influence of nutrition, hydration, sleep, stress management, and environmental exposures on skin health.
- Promote natural-looking results that enhance each woman's features rather than dramatically altering her appearance.
- Help patients understand realistic treatment expectations and the importance of consistent, long-term skincare.
- Support an individualized approach that balances medical aesthetics with preventive and restorative skin health.
Patient Experience & Collaborative Care
- Create a welcoming, compassionate environment where women feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing their aesthetic concerns.
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships through personalized education, thoughtful treatment planning, and consistent follow-up.
- Collaborate with medical providers, hormone specialists, longevity coaches, and other wellness professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation, informed consents, and appropriate clinical records.
- Follow established medical orders, delegation requirements, treatment protocols, and professional standards.
- Participate in developing aesthetic service offerings, patient education resources, and wellness programs.
- Stay informed on advancements in aesthetic medicine, skincare science, and evidence-informed rejuvenation techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with demonstrated experience in medical aesthetics; 5 or more years of aesthetic experience strongly preferred.
- Experience performing aesthetic consultations and individualized skin assessments.
- Demonstrated training and clinical competency in advanced aesthetic procedures relevant to the position.
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy, skin physiology, the aging process, and patient safety.
- Knowledge of professional skincare products, active ingredients, contraindications, and treatment protocols.
- Experience working with mature skin, hormonal skin changes, and common concerns associated with aging.
- Ability to recognize complications and respond appropriately within established clinical protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, individualized patient care.
- Willingness to provide both traditional aesthetic services and advanced medical aesthetic treatments within authorized scope.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dual licensure as a Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Aesthetician.
- Five or more years of experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or an established medical spa.
- Advanced training and hands-on experience with PRP, microneedling, neuromodulators, and dermal fillers.
- Experience with customized facials, chemical peels, and comprehensive skincare services.
- Training in lymphatic facial massage or specialized facial rejuvenation techniques.
- Experience with red light therapy and other noninvasive skin wellness modalities.
- Advanced knowledge of perimenopausal and menopausal skin changes.
- Familiarity with provider-prescribed compounded skincare formulations and topical peptide products.
- Experience with evidence-informed skin rejuvenation protocols focused on collagen support, hydration, skin barrier function, and healthy aging.
- Interest in functional medicine, integrative wellness, nutrition, and the relationship between internal health and skin appearance.
- Experience developing individualized aesthetic programs and building long-term patient relationships.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for more than an experienced injector or skincare professional.
We want someone who is genuinely passionate about helping women feel confident, healthy, and beautiful in their own skin.
Someone who understands that aging is a natural process and believes aesthetic medicine should enhance a woman's confidence rather than create unrealistic expectations.
Our ideal candidate recognizes that changes in skin texture, elasticity, hydration, and appearance may be influenced by hormonal transitions, lifestyle factors, and overall health.
They appreciate the value of advanced medical treatments but also understand that not every concern requires an injection, aggressive procedure, or expensive product.
They are comfortable performing a broad range of aesthetic services, enjoy educating patients, and take pride in creating individualized treatment plans that produce thoughtful, natural-looking results.
This individual is compassionate, clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and committed to continued learning.
Most importantly, they understand that women deserve an aesthetic experience where they feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their care.
