Data Team Lead

Job Overview
Serve as Data Team Lead (DTL) within the RWS Scientific Services team handling data in late phase studies.

Essential Functions
• Manage delivery of projects through full data management study life-cycle (with minimal guidance).
• Serve as Data Team Lead or Data Operations Coordinator.
• With guidance from senior team members or Manager, manage project timelines and quality.
• Determine resource needs.
• Perform medical coding and manual data review during data cleaning periods for DBL

• Identify out-of-scope work.
• Perform comprehensive data management tasks including data review, writing and resolving data clarifications.
• Provide support in database designer activities for technologies, but not requiring extensive programming knowledge.
• Perform comprehensive quality control procedures.
• Independently bring project solutions to the CDM team.
• Solve issues through using the global issue escalation/communication plan.
• Consult with Standards Group for process issues.
• Communicate ideas for process improvement.
• Assist in developing and implementing new technology.
• Understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.
• Meet objectives as assigned.
• Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with the DM and RWS team.
• Interact with DM/RWS team members to negotiate timelines and responsibilities.

Qualification

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in Data Management Operations. 
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in full Data Management (DM) life-cycle study management.
• Thorough knowledge of data management process and skills
• Preferred: Preferred: Nursing background, Medical coding and manual data review, Experience in client-facing roles
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
