Job Description

As a Security Officer Highrise Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support guests and staff with integrity, teamwork, and a reliable, agile approach while helping create a welcoming environment throughout the property.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including lobbies, hallways, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a welcoming location environment by observing surroundings, documenting security-related incidents, and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
