Responsibilities
Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Trailer Technician A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailers, lift gates, and reefer equipment at our Martin Brower facility in City of Industry.
- Candidates must have the ability to make repairs to trailers, lift gates, and reefer units.
- Candidates should know how to do proper pm's on all equipment with minimal supervision.
- Candidates must be ok with working outside.
Shift: Full-Time l Tuesday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm, Saturday 8:00am-4:30pmPay: $39.00 - 42.00/hr, depending upon experience

Position Responsibilities:
- The Trailer Technician is responsible for maintaining company fleet assets, diagnosing complex mechanical problems, and documenting work orders through the online AssetWorks system
- As a Trailer Technician, you will inspect, repair, and diagnose refrigeration and heating units, as well as hydraulic liftgate components
- You will assess the structural integrity and body of the asset, repair and replace parts as needed, and perform the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) annual inspection certification
- You will work in a safe manner and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
- Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical School Certification
