Description
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing business processes and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder engagement, interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, workflow diagrams, and other business documentation supporting operational effectiveness.
- Support operational modernization initiatives by assessing current-state processes and recommending practical, sustainable improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional process improvement efforts and ensure alignment among stakeholders, leadership, and operational teams.
- Monitor implementation of approved process enhancements and support change management activities to promote successful adoption.
- Conduct research, data collection, and analysis to support business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management regarding operational performance and process optimization opportunities.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure business objectives and operational requirements are clearly understood and documented.
- Support enterprise initiatives focused on improving service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Three (3) years of experience supporting business analysis, process improvement, operational support, program support, or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing workflows, documenting business processes, and developing process improvement recommendations.
- Experience creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and related operational materials.
- Ability to gather requirements, document findings, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple assignments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required Government suitability determination, if applicable
- Business process analysis and workflow optimization.
- Process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
- Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business process documentation, and process mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex operational challenges.
- Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and present information in a clear and actionable manner.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups in a professional environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or comparable process-mapping tools.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Knowledge of operational modernization, business transformation, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Experience supporting Government or large enterprise environments is desirable.
