Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Systems Operator in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain accurate access records. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help identify and report security-related concerns. This role offers the opportunity to use your computer or tablet skills while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Monitor and control access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries; verify credentials and maintain required entry records.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Document observations, incidents, and access-control activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
