About the Job
Join us in reshaping the future of golf! With a team of over 85 passionate people, we're dedicated to our mission in revolutionizing the golf industry one swing at a time. Our international Sales team, based in Munich, is looking for an ambitious Trade Marketing Manager with high potential and a builder mindset, ready to take ownership early, learn fast and help us develop the next stage of Vice Golf’s global trade marketing and omnichannel business. Ready to embrace your Vice?
Your Fairway
Own and continuously develop Vice Golf’s global trade marketing approach, with Retail Sales as the primary commercial focus while ensuring strong alignment with our overall omnichannel strategy.
Act as the key connector between Retail Sales, Brand, D2C Marketing and CRM, ensuring retail priorities are integrated early into campaigns, launches and consumer communication, and vice versa.
Translate Vice Golf’s brand identity, campaigns and product launches into distinctive retail experiences and activations that feel unmistakably Vice, bold, different and challenger-minded.
Develop scalable trade marketing concepts across physical and digital retail touchpoints, including POS, displays, merchandising, launch toolkits, retailer campaigns, digital assets and online product presentation.
Identify opportunities to connect D2C, CRM and Retail, leveraging our consumer reach and communication channels to create awareness, traffic and sell-through for our retail partners where commercially relevant.
Work directly with selected Key Accounts and their marketing teams to develop joint activation plans, identify commercial opportunities and ensure strong execution together with the responsible Sales Manager.
Develop trade marketing solutions for online retailers, marketplaces and the e-commerce businesses of our retail partners, ensuring Vice wins digitally beyond our own D2C channels.
Think beyond classic co-op marketing and identify creative ways for Vice and our partners to jointly reach consumers, launch products and drive engagement, conversion and sell-through.
Take projects from idea to execution, defining what is needed, finding pragmatic solutions, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and making sure things actually happen in market.
Regularly visit retailers, markets, trade shows and activations to understand what works, what does not and where Vice can do things differently.
Challenge existing approaches and continuously improve how we activate retail, simplifying processes, testing new ideas and scaling what works.
Use data, AI and digital tools to identify opportunities, develop ideas faster, improve workflows and execution, and measure the impact of our activities.
Manage trade marketing projects and budgets with a strong focus on commercial impact, scalability and ROI.
Stay flexible as the role evolves, supporting additional areas such as grassroots marketing, demo events, community activations or other emerging marketing opportunities where they help build the Vice brand and our omnichannel business.
Your Scorecard
We are not primarily looking for the perfect CV. We are looking for the right mindset and personality.
Builder mindset: You enjoy creating things that do not yet exist and are comfortable working in an environment where not every process, template or structure is already defined.
Hands-on mentality: You do not stop at PowerPoint. If something needs to be built, tested, shipped, fixed or activated, you get involved and make it happen.
Problem solver: You identify obstacles early and come with solutions rather than simply escalating problems.
High ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes, follow topics through and do not wait for someone else to tell you the next step.
Entrepreneurial thinking: You understand that Vice is a fast-moving challenger brand and are comfortable making pragmatic decisions, testing ideas and continuously improving them.
Vice mindset: You understand that Vice Golf should not look, behave or activate like every traditional golf brand. You are excited to challenge conventions and translate our personality into retail.
Omnichannel thinker: You do not think in D2C vs. Retail silos. You think consumer first and understand how Brand, D2C, CRM and Retail can work together to create a stronger consumer experience and greater commercial impact.
Commercial instinct: You connect marketing activities to the needs of consumers, retailers and Sales and understand that great trade marketing should ultimately support growth.
Partner-facing and commercially confident: You enjoy working directly with buyers and marketing teams of our Key Accounts, understanding their business and developing ideas that create value for both sides.
AI- and tech-curious: You actively use AI and modern digital tools to improve creativity, productivity, analysis and execution, and continuously explore what new technology can enable.
Adaptive and curious: You are open to taking ownership beyond classic trade marketing responsibilities when the business needs it – whether that means grassroots marketing, events, local activations or entirely new projects. You see change and new challenges as opportunities to contribute, learn and grow.
Collaborative but independent: You enjoy working across Brand, Sales, D2C, CRM, Product and external partners but do not require constant guidance to move projects forward.
Strong project-management and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
Ideally 1 to 2 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, shopper marketing, brand activation or a comparable role.
Experience in golf, sporting goods, lifestyle or another brand-led consumer environment is a plus, but the right personality and learning mindset matter more.
Willingness to travel and spend meaningful time in the market.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
