Job Summary
Production Supervisor
Location: 6th of October City, Cairo, Egypt

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Supervisor to join our Operations team in Cairo and help drive safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance.

Where You'll Make a Difference?
As a Production Supervisor, you will provide operational leadership during assigned shifts, ensuring the achievement of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Safety, Health & Environment (EHS)
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by ensuring adherence to all EHS policies, procedures, and standards.
Supervise and enforce safety requirements across all production areas.
Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, monitoring, and corrective actions.
Drive employee awareness and engagement in workplace safety initiatives.
Quality & Compliance
Partner closely with the Quality team to ensure products meet all specifications and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, food safety standards, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Lead investigations related to production deviations and non-conformances.
Support and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Maintain accurate and complete production documentation and records.
Production Management
Lead, coach, and motivate production teams to achieve daily production objectives.
Organize workforce activities and allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity.
Assign responsibilities according to employee competencies and operational needs.
Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to approved procedures and production schedules.
Coordinate shift activities to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Equipment & Resource Management
Ensure production equipment, devices, and tools are properly maintained and available for operation.
Coordinate with Maintenance and other support functions to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Support efficient utilization of materials, resources, and manpower.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare and submit daily shift reports covering production performance, quality metrics, safety observations, downtime, and operational challenges.
Communicate effectively with Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, and other stakeholders.
Escalate operational risks, resource constraints, and performance concerns to the Production Manager when required.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.
Encourage employee participation and engagement in improvement activities.
Contribute to operational excellence and manufacturing best practices.
What Makes You the Right Fit?
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Food Science, Science, or a related discipline.
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing leadership position.
Previous experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems, food safety requirements, and production operations.
Working knowledge of SAP systems.
Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Very good command of English, both written and verbal.

Proven success in leading continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Strong knowledge of CAPA processes and root cause analysis methodologies.
