HIH - Program Management Advisor (Workforce Management)

Position Summary:

The Program Management Advisor (Workforce Management) will support Hyderabad leadership in driving workforce planning, capacity management, capability development, talent readiness, and workforce insights. The role will partner with business leaders, HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and functional teams to align talent supply and workforce capabilities with business priorities and growth objectives. The advisor will bring structure, analytics, and governance to workforce decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning & Capacity Management

·     Lead workforce management and capacity-planning processes to align talent supply with current and future business demand.

·     Develop workforce forecasts, capacity plans, hiring outlooks, and resource recommendations aligned with business priorities.

·     Partner with business leaders and functional teams to translate growth, transition, and transformation priorities into workforce requirements.

·     Maintain workforce-planning assumptions, demand inputs, governance routines, and readiness views.

Capability Management & Skills Frameworks

·     Develop and maintain the enterprise capability taxonomy, skill frameworks, competency models, and role architecture.

·     Create and maintain skills inventories and capability maps to improve visibility into workforce strengths and development needs.

·     Support role standardization, workforce segmentation, career pathways, and future capability requirements.

·     Ensure capability and skill frameworks remain aligned with evolving business priorities.

Workforce Readiness & Stakeholder Partnership

·     Partner with business leaders, HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and functional teams to identify skill gaps and workforce risks.

·     Drive workforce-readiness initiatives focused on critical skills, emerging capabilities, talent mobility, upskilling, and reskilling.

·     Facilitate workforce governance forums and ensure clear ownership and follow-through on agreed talent actions.

·     Influence workforce and capability strategies through structured recommendations and stakeholder alignment.

Workforce Analytics, Insights & Governance Reporting

·     Produce talent insights, workforce analytics, scorecards, and governance reports to support strategic decision-making.

·     Analyze workforce capacity, skill gaps, capability maturity, hiring outlook, and talent-readiness indicators.

·     Translate workforce data into concise executive insights, planning materials, and investment recommendations.

·     Maintain consistent definitions, data quality, and reporting discipline across workforce metrics.

Success Measures

·     Accurate workforce forecasts and capacity plans that support business priorities and growth objectives.

·     Enterprise-wide adoption and maintenance of capability taxonomy, role architecture, and skills frameworks.

·     Improved visibility into workforce capabilities, skill gaps, and talent readiness across functions.

·     Delivery of actionable talent insights that enable informed workforce and capability investment decisions.

Education:

·     Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

·     Professional certification in workforce planning, talent management, HR analytics, organizational development, or program management is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

Required:

·     11 - 13 years of experience in Talent Management, Workforce Planning, HR Analytics, Capability Management, or related disciplines.

·     Strong experience in workforce planning, skills inventory, capability mapping, capacity planning, and organizational design.

·     Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence talent and workforce strategies.

·     Experience leveraging workforce data and analytics to drive talent decisions and business outcomes.

·     Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and bring structure to evolving workforce priorities.

·     Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with workforce analytics, HR reporting, or visualization tools is preferred.

Desired:

·     Experience supporting a large-scale GCC, shared-services, technology, healthcare, or enterprise workforce environment.

·     Exposure to enterprise capability frameworks, skills-based workforce practices, workforce transformation, and future-of-work initiatives.

·     Demonstrated discretion in handling sensitive workforce information and leadership communications.
