Project ManagerJob Description
Responsible for managing customer projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery of scope, quality, timeline, and customer satisfaction through effective coordination of cross-functional teams.
Your role:
The Customer Project Manager is responsible for collaborating closely with internal project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure that project deliverables are aligned with customer expectations, contract scope, and business objectives.
The role manages assigned project activities throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely execution, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements. Operating under general supervision, the role requires independent judgment to navigate operational challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
The greater impact of this role is to ensure the successful execution of complex, high-value customer projects, safeguarding customer satisfaction, account retention, and business continuity, especially in high-impact accounts requiring strong execution control and stakeholder alignment.
This role serves as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, addressing moderately complex inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. It also plays a critical role in risk management, documentation of issues and change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What are the professional and personal opportunities for development within this role?
This role offers strong exposure to complex, high-value customer projects, developing expertise in project execution, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and data-driven decision-making. It also provides opportunities to contribute to presales activities, post-implementation reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance overall project delivery maturity.
From structured execution to strategic customer impact, a career at Philips comes with all sorts of wonderful benefits. Be sure to speak to your recruiter about benefits in your region.
You're the right fit if:
You have experience in project management, with exposure to complex, cross-functional environments. Certification in PMP or similar is desirable.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, including scope definition, risk assessment, KPI tracking, stakeholder management, and data analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field preferred; vocational education or equivalent experience also considered.
You are proactive, structured, and resilient, with strong ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
Indicate if this role is an office/field/onsite role.
