Senior Manager, Relationship Management - Black Music Genres - The Orchard

What you'll do:

• Relationship Management: Maintain close relationships with Artist, label day-to-day teams ensuring clear communication and honest feedback to help achieve agreed shared goals. Host meetings with key clients and attend concerts, events, label meetings to build strong partnerships.
• Campaign Coordination: Ensure all internal departments and any external third-party partners are equipped with the tools and support needed to execute campaign plans effectively. 
• Communication: Share regular updates with internal and external parties on campaign progress, physical/digital retail plans, and priority release schedules.
• Project Management: Ensure plans and campaigns stay on track, set project timelines, manage campaign budgets for artists, and maintain momentum by solving day-to-day challenges.
• Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and communicate release strategies to the highest standard, exploring new opportunities, managing third parties, and holding third party teams accountable.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise reports and data to adapt quickly to emerging trends, shifts in fan activity, and market trends, adjusting strategy accordingly.
• Goal Setting & Benchmarking: Work alongside the Relationship Lead to establish clear goals, key benchmarks, and performance targets at the start of each project.
• Artist & Campaign Insights: Stay informed on high-performing and developing artists, deeply understanding their business models to maximize performance and visibility.
• Company Knowledge: Serve as a reliable source on company systems, tools, and processes, ensuring seamless operational execution for clients.
• Service integration: Proactively seek opportunities to add relevant specialised services (D2C, marketing, audience development, ad sales, sync etc.) to elevate campaign reach where appropriate.
• Catalogue Optimization: Help optimize label’s catalogue and maximize repertoire value, particularly around key tentpole moments.
• Problem-Solving & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify, manage, and solve day-to-day challenges as they arise, staying flexible to support label needs.
• Performance Reporting: Regularly prepare and deliver high-level label, artist, and campaign reports for clients and the team.

Who you are:

• Experience: Significant project management experience or campaign coordination. Previous experience product managing directly with labels, third-party agencies, or artist management teams is preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing analytics tools to track and interpret release performance, trends, and metrics.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to serve as a key liaison between artists, labels, internal teams, and external partners.
• Organization: Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and resolving challenges quickly.
• Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities simultaneously. A highly organized professional that pays close attention to the details with the ability to multitask and prioritize to tight deadlines.
• Proactivity: Ability to be proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to take initiative.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with digital tools, release management software, and project management platforms is highly desirable. You are also experienced in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace Applications and are adaptable to new programs.
• Motivation: You are passionate about the music business and have a desire to build a career in the industry.
