Description
As the exclusive outbound arm for the University, the sales team manages many of the sales efforts for ticketed sports. As a member of the team, we provide fans, partners, businesses, and constituents of the University with outreach and access to all ticket types, including season, partial, and group tickets, and ultimately providing experiences to grow involvement and revenue generation across the board while integrating fully within the department and the community.
Learfield Amplify is actively seeking a Manager, Premium Sales. To lead the ticket sales team. The Manager, Premium Sales, is responsible for training, mentoring, motivating and coaching the Premium Sales staff. This person will also be responsible for developing and implementing revenue initiatives designed to meet or exceed the annual sales goals set forth by senior management.
Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of sales and retention strategies for all premium seating areas.
Recruit, hire, train, and support the professional development of the premium seating team.
Build relationships with current and past customers and conduct proactive outreach to prospective customers and new leads to generate sales.
Collaborate with Development, Marketing, Sports Properties, and other administrative teams to identify prospects and establish customer retention priorities.
Develop and maintain a personal portfolio of premium ticket buyer prospects and customers.
Prospect and engage area businesses and individuals through phone outreach, in-person appointments, networking events, and other sales activities to sell premium season tickets, partial plans, and group ticket packages.
Work closely with the Director, Revenue Generation to identify, develop, and pursue qualified leads.
Leverage national best practices and industry trends to streamline sales processes, enhance customer experience, and maximize revenue results.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director, Revenue Generation.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of premium sales experience within collegiate or professional sports.
Demonstrated high levels of personal and professional integrity and ethical conduct.
Proven track record of success in sales, relationship building, and customer retention.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and information.
Demonstrated ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to business opportunities and challenges.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals established by management.
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and all home football games.
Demonstrated history of success in ticket sales, preferably within a major Division I university or professional sports organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Experience with Paciolan and Salesforce
The approximate national base pay range for this position is $72,500 to $82,500. Please note that this is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation based on individual and company performance. Placement on the range may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and geographic location.The pay rate will comply with all minimum federal, state, and local wage/salary requirements.
