Job Description

Credit Review (Retail) is responsible for conducting a detailed credit analysis based on information furnished by the borrower, publicly available information, the lender's evaluation of the borrower's credit needs, and the ability to pay across a range of products against credit standards set by the organization. The Credit Review / Underwriting focus specializes in performing credit reviews of loan portfolios. May identify underwriting weaknesses and suggest changes. Develops, maintains, and evaluates portfolios for compliance to firm-wide or business unit policies and regulations. May involve credit underwriting skills and wealth management responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities
▪ Monitoring of accounts in collateral shortfall and limit excesses on credit facilities granted.
▪ Maintenance and monitoring of exceptional handling of Private Banking clients.
▪ Identify and manage process improvement initiatives to enhance risk control and efficiency.
▪ Partner with various key stakeholders to support business and product development initiatives.
▪ Support regulatory and internal reporting.
▪ Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new / enhancement projects within the organization.
▪ Establish strong working relationship with team members and key stakeholders.

Job Requirements
▪ A recognized university degree, preferably in Banking & Finance / Wealth Management.
▪ Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
▪ Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
▪ Attention to details and willingness to learn.
▪ Ability to work under tight timeline.
▪ Maturity level and skill / judgement to deal effectively with business partners and stakeholders.
▪ Proficient in MS Office applications.
▪ Good team player as well as ability to work independently.
