Bazaarvoice is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Legal Department. In this critical role, you will provide essential legal assistance to our corporate attorneys and act as a primary liaison between company attorneys, outside counsel, organizations, and our in-house employees. Your work will directly support our corporate entity maintenance, contract drafting, and comprehensive compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities* Provide comprehensive legal assistance to corporate attorneys in the Legal Department, focusing on corporate entity maintenance, contract drafting, and compliance functions.. * Act as a highly effective liaison between company attorneys, outside counsel, regulatory organizations, and in-house employees.. * Compile, organize, and synthesize data from legal digests, encyclopedias, and practice manuals to support legal strategies.. * Assemble, proof, and carefully edit drafts of critical documents including contracts, leases, licenses, and insurance policies.. * Prepare and accurately file legal documents with the appropriate external entities and regulatory bodies as required.. * Conduct thorough research on various special projects as directed by corporate attorneys.. * Review corporate processes and assist in ensuring the company's full compliance with relevant industry regulations and laws.. * Assist internal teams in analyzing complex legal documents to identify obligations and risks.. * Counsel attorneys and key stakeholders on the ongoing progress and status of active cases.. * Assist with the review and preparation of intellectual property matters, including patent materials and applications.. * Leverage legal AI tools and agentic workflows to streamline document review, enhance legal research, and optimize daily operations.. Qualifications & Requirements* Certification: Valid Paralegal certification is required.. * Experience: Proven law office or in-house legal department experience.. * Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of office automation equipment and legal software/tools related to paralegal and compliance activities.. * AI Proficiency: Familiarity with, or a strong willingness to learn, emerging legal AI technology and agentic software solutions to drive workflow efficiency.. * Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading and editing skills for sensitive legal documents like contracts and licenses.. * Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to serve as an effective liaison between internal and external parties..
