Reporting Line: Head of Marketing
As Lead Performance Marketing Manager, you will oversee SimplyCook’s performance-driven customer acquisition channels, including Inspire channels (paid social, Google) and Incentive channels (affiliates and partnerships). Your mission
Channel Growth & Oversight
- Oversee and manage SimplyCook’s full suite of acquisition channels, including:

- Incentive channels – affiliate and partnership programmes that drive acquisition through value-driven collaborations.
- Organic channels - SEO and referral.
- Provide strategic guidance to the Performance Marketing Manager and Performance Executive, ensuring channels deliver against growth targets, CPA, and customer quality targets.
- Set the direction for each channel, aligning campaigns with SimplyCook’s broader acquisition strategy and long-term business objectives.
- Support the team in testing new initiatives, optimising channel mix, and scaling high-performing activity.
- Monitor and review channel performance at a high level, providing insights, recommendations, and prioritisation to the Head of Marketing.
- Oversee structured testing across creatives, messaging, incentives, and user journeys, ensuring learnings are applied to improve acquisition performance.
- Collaborate with design, product, and analytics teams to develop and implement experiments.
- Review insights from tests and performance reports to refine channel strategies and maximise impact.
- Analyse channel performance trends, providing clear insights, recommendations, and next steps to leadership.
- Ensure robust tracking and reporting of acquisition metrics across Inspire and Incentive channels.
- Work with BI and data teams to maintain accurate measurement and reporting frameworks.
- Partner with CRM, product and data teams to optimise the end-to-end acquisition journey.
- Ensure acquisition campaigns and partner activity are aligned with wider marketing initiatives and seasonal campaigns.
- Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and channel teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to channel specialists, fostering a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and results-driven performance.
- Support professional development for the Inspire and Incentive channel teams.
- Champion a performance-focused mindset, ensuring teams are empowered to execute effectively and learn from data-driven insights.
Your profile
- Strong experience managing performance marketing channels, ideally including paid social, Google, affiliates, or partnerships.
- Experience in overseeing multiple acquisition channels, guiding teams rather than handling day-to-day execution.
- Proven ability to interpret data, optimise performance, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Commercial mindset with strong understanding of CPA, ROI, and customer lifetime value metrics.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience supporting channel managers or senior executives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for experimentation, optimisation, and sustainable growth.
