Regional Sales Manager - Central Region- Sports Medicine- Instruments, Implants, Biologics
Dallas, TX - Remote - MUST reside near any major airport.
At plan approximately: $230K- 240K, uncapped. Full benefits, all expenses, etc.
Our client, a growing leader in the orthopedic space, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial operations across the Texas and Oklahoma territory. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a sales executive with a strong background in sports medicine, distributor management, and orthopedic sales leadership.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, developing direct and independent sales agents, and building strategic relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers throughout the region. This leader will play a critical role in executing commercial strategy while serving as a key partner to marketing, education, training, and corporate account team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, develop, and support a sales team across a multi-state territory
• Recruit, retain, and mentor high-performing sales professionals
• Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
• Develop regional sales strategies, forecasts, budgets, and business plans
• Build strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospital systems, and ambulatory surgery centers
• Support product adoption, training initiatives, and commercial execution within the field
• Partner with internal teams to optimize pricing, contracting, inventory management, and customer support
• Provide market intelligence regarding competitive activity, customer needs, and growth opportunities
• Maintain a strong understanding of sports medicine technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5 years of medical device sales or sales leadership experience
• Demonstrated success leading orthopedic sales teams across multiple states or regions
• Required to have sports medicine: instruments, implants, biologics
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent
• Strong business acumen with experience in forecasting, territory planning, and P&L management
• Working knowledge of hospital contracting, GPOs, IDNs, and healthcare compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel up to 50%
