Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support via ticketing systems, email, phone, remote, and on-site assistance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, user account, and system-related issues.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and escalate incidents where required to maintain service availability.
- Support the administration and maintenance of ICT systems, services, and end-user devices.
- Manage user onboarding, including provisioning, configuring, and deploying equipment and accounts.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration tools.
- Take ownership of support tickets from investigation through to resolution or escalation.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory records and support hardware lifecycle management.
- Assist with IT security initiatives, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience, processes, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, or relevant industry certifications and hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Familiarity with endpoint management, deployment technologies, and IT security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Certifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
- CCNA
- Microsoft 365 Administrator or Endpoint Administrator
- ITIL Foundation
