Description
This position is part of the incoPat content department and works with other teams in the content department to create value for customers by defining and maintaining high-quality data content. Specific responsibilities include:
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
2+ years of experience in Data Operations or a related domain
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with domestic and international colleagues to drive projects forward
Proficiency in SQL with the ability to independently perform foundational data analysis;
Familiarity with common data formats such as XML, DTD, and JSON
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data visualization tools such as Power BI
Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
It would be great if you also had . . .
Knowledge of big data processing technologies and programming tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Python)
Understanding of intellectual property and patent-related business
Ability to read documentation in languages other than Chinese and English
What will you be doing in this role?
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless data product delivery
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data integrity, and data ingestion
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Algorithm, Analytics, Product Management, and Technology, to identify and execute on product enhancement opportunities
Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout the full lifecycle of data products, including data dictionaries and versioning
Participate in data governance initiatives and produce public-facing documentation such as data dictionaries, API documentation, and release notes
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data operations and provide actionable recommendations for product optimization based on customer feedback.
Hours of Work
Full Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday, core business hours)
This is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days a week in one of our Clarivate offices.
