Client Lead – Water Brisbane

Help shape the future of water. We’re looking for a senior client leader to set strategy and deepen client relationships.

The opportunity as a Client Lead – Water, you will lead the water market strategy for Brisbane and the wider region. You’ll be the go-to leader for client engagement, opportunity shaping, and positioning translating regional needs into sustainable solutions across water, wastewater, networks, treatment, assets, and capital programmes.

Reporting to General Manager - Water, you’ll primarily be responsible for:

• Leading the development of the Brisbane and wider region water market strategy aligned to client priorities and our growth ambitions.
• Building and maintaining senior relationships across utilities, councils, partners, and industry bodies and act as a trusted advisor.
• Turning opportunities into outcomes but shaping and winning work.
• Guiding delivery excellence by partnering with project leaders to manage performance, risks, and value for clients.
• Owning pipeline health, forecasts, and commercial performance; refine pricing strategies and governance as the market evolves.
• Representing the organisation in the market through thought leadership, events, and strategic partnerships

About you

To be successful in the role you have senior level experience in the water sector with a proven track record leading to regional growth and key accounts. You’ll have deep understanding of the local water market and have success in building relationships and turning opportunities into outcomes. We’re seeking a market leader with strong commercial acumen and ideally you’re confident in navigating panels, frameworks, alliances, and long‑term programmes.
