Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team. Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services to individuals of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as injuries, both in-person and via telemedicine.
- Create and maintain detailed patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Perform routine health assessments, including physical exams, screenings, and preventive care measures.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of existing medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatments according to established medical guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the practice to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Follow up on patient concerns and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on progress or test results.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and medical standards.
- Actively contribute to health initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare delivery.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field.
- Valid medical license and ability to practice as a General Practitioner in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven clinical experience as a General Practitioner or Specialist Doctor.
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills with an evidence-based approach to care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to building trust with a diverse patient population.
- Ability to adapt care delivery to meet the needs of culturally diverse communities.
- Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to medical ethics.
Day-to-Day
- Conduct patient consultations, either in-person or via telemedicine, to assess medical conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work or imaging, in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families regarding lifestyle changes, medication management, and treatment compliance.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists to provide integrated care.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss case reviews, share knowledge, and improve workflow efficiency.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical research, technologies, and practices through professional development.
- Contribute to community health programs and initiatives aimed at improving access to healthcare for marginalized communities.
