Job Purpose
- This position provides enterprise-level leadership in preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities while ensuring continuous facility readiness and system-wide compliance with CMS, TJC, and OSHA standards.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or related field
- Master’s degree in related field, preferred
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Certification: ICS 100-800, 300/400 (required); CEM, CBCP or equivalent, preferred
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter-campus travel
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive emergency management or business continuity experience, preferably within healthcare or multi-facility setting.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or regional emergency preparedness programs.
- Preferred training: HAZMAT, HICS, HSEEP, MCI, and FEMA CDP coursework.
