We are searching for a Director of Food and Beverage for a luxury hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a senior commercial and operational leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, and guest experience across Banquets and Events, In-Room Dining, and the Kitchen. The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to the Hotel Manager and wider commercial team, driving revenue, innovation, and the hotel's culinary identity.
- Provide strategic leadership across all F&B; operations, setting the direction for service excellence, revenue growth, and guest experience
- Oversee banquets and events including weddings, corporate functions, VIP experiences, and hotel-led activations
- Lead and elevate the in-room dining program, developing menus and service enhancements that reflect the hotel's luxury positioning
- Curate experiential dining concepts, seasonal activations, and culinary storytelling initiatives that differentiate the property
- Partner with the commercial team on revenue strategy, marketing content, special events, and local partnerships
- Build meaningful relationships with local businesses, chefs, producers, and community organisations to strengthen the hotel's market presence
- Manage budgets, forecasting, labour costs, food and beverage costs, and capital expenditures to achieve financial targets
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing F&B leaders and colleagues
- Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across all teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior F&B; leadership role; luxury hospitality experience is strongly preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and translate results into operational action
- Proven ability to lead and manage change in a high-volume, high-expectation environment
- Experience across banquets, events, and in-room dining operations
- Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, and F&B systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
