Integrate mechanical, material, electro-mechanical, or mechatronic engineering expertise throughout the end-to-end product development lifecycle
Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) databases to track, manage, and release key engineering deliverables
Lead technical product review sessions, document key deliverables, and track action items to preempt development hurdles
Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot project risks, coordinating with global support departments to resolve complex issues or escalate when necessary
Research and explore emerging materials, mechanisms, and manufacturing technologies to continuously improve engineering efficiency
What are your skills and experience?
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Computer, or Electrical Engineering
Professional experience in product development, hardware engineering, or manufacturing engineering
Solid understanding of injection-molded plastics, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering cost structures for durable consumer goods
Demonstrated experience with CAD and PLM software to manage technical specifications, drawings, and 3D models
Proven capacity to manage multiple product lines and engineering timelines simultaneously in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience collaborating with and managing deliverables from external creative vendors, industrial designers, and cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear actionable updates for business partners
Bonus: Prior engineering experience within the toy or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a strong asset
