You will be responsible for leading the conceptualisation and realisation of electrical systems for building services ventures, encompassing lighting, power distribution, security, and more.
What you will do
- Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring that all mechanical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to meet quality and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and budgets, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
- Participate in tender preparation and client presentations to secure new projects and maintain positive client relationships.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
- Promote sustainability and energy-efficient practices in mechanical system designs.
Who you are
Conduct comprehensive feasibility analyses and engage with fellow engineers and stakeholders to delineate project requisites and objectives.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Profound expertise in electrical systems pertinent to building services, including but not limited to lighting, power distribution, and security measures.
- Proficiency in employing design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, .
- Acquaintance with UK building codes, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability benchmarks.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving acumen, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional communication prowess and leadership acumen, essential for fostering effective collaboration with team members and clientele alike.
