As a Finance Professional – Manufacturing Finance, you will support the Manufacturing Finance team in monitoring manufacturing costs, analyzing operational performance, preparing financial reports, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides exposure to plant operations, supply chain activities, and manufacturing decision-making processes.

As a Finance Professional – Manufacturing Finance, you will be responsible for:

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly manufacturing performance reports.
• Analyzing production and engineering costs, controlling overhead spending, and producing trend analysis and recommendations.
• Supporting month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of management reports and financial presentations.
• Investigating and explaining variances between actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Supporting the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Gathering and validating operational data to improve forecast accuracy.
• Assisting in developing financial models to support operational decision-making.
• Monitoring spending against approved budgets.
• Assisting with identifying cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a formal qualification from an accredited institution in Finance, Business, or STEM; or equivalent years of experience in a similar position.
• Have knowledge of financial reporting and basic accounting principles.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent Portuguese skills
• Intermediate English skills.
