Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementations of enterprise cloud software for investment management clients. You will interact directly with internal and client stakeholders to define and deliver an agreed scope of services in a project management capacity.
About the Role & Platform
Our client's platform is a cloud-native, AI-first system built on a unified data model, delivered through a structured onboarding process spanning front office, back office, data migration, and technical integration workstreams. The project manager coordinates these technical and functional workstreams toward a successful go-live. Familiarity with the front-to-back and wealth systems landscape the platform is designed to replace is a meaningful advantage.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Define project goals, plan scope, allocate resource time, and set timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations
- Oversee the project budget, ensuring cost effectiveness and financial tracking
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder requirements
- Identify potential project risks, devise mitigation strategies, and manage issues as they arise
- Assess project outcomes against objectives, analyze performance, and report results to stakeholders
- Directly engage in and complete critical project tasks as necessary to support team efforts and project success
Requirements
- Experience leading investment management software implementations in a client-facing role
- Investment management industry knowledge of front office and back office systems, workflows, and processes, for example portfolio accounting, performance measurement, trading, reconciliation, data, compliance, and reporting
- Hands-on experience working with similar systems such as Charles River, SS&C, SimCorp, BlackRock Aladdin, Addepar, or Envestnet
- Ability to work independently with general direction and guidance; highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with a hands-on approach
- Understanding of Agile principles and software development lifecycles
- Comfortable using tools for project management and communication
- 12-15+ years of relevant experience (Director+ level)
