Senior Fullstack Developer

Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Developer to join its core R&D team and contribute to the development of a cloud-based SaaS platform. The role spans the full technology stack, including architecture, backend development, frontend development, third-party integrations and performance optimisation. The successful candidate will also mentor junior developers and help maintain strong technical and coding standards across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance a cloud-based platform using technologies such as AWS, microservices and containerised solutions.
• Participate in architectural decisions, technical research and solution design to deliver scalable and robust software.
• Develop backend functionality and intuitive frontend applications.
• Build and integrate third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders and internal teams to support an efficient and reliable platform.
• Mentor junior developers and promote technical knowledge sharing across the team.
• Help establish and maintain coding standards and development best practices.
• Continuously improve platform performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Stay informed about relevant technology and software development trends.
• Lead technical projects where required.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional Node.js development experience.
• At least 5 years of professional React development experience.
• Proven production experience working with microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform.
• Ability to mentor developers and lead technical projects.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Advantageous Experience

• Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing high-scale SaaS solutions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and QA automation processes.
• Academic achievement in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
