Hinckley Yachts is seeking a highly organized, professional, and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our regional Sales Directors in the marketing and sale of new and pre-owned Hinckley yachts. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with high-net-worth clients, and can successfully balance administrative, sales support, marketing, and event planning responsibilities.
As Sales Directors often travel extensively, the Sales Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring seamless office operations and consistent client support. This is a full-time position that includes occasional evening and weekend responsibilities for boat shows, customer events, and industry functions.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Maintain office equipment, supplies, and inventory
- Order and organize marketing materials, literature, and stationery
- Coordinate shipping and receiving needs
- Manage and organize incoming communications and emails
- Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Sales & Marketing Support
- Research and identify qualified sales prospects
- Conduct lead follow-up through phone, email, and direct mail campaigns
- Maintain accurate records and reporting within Salesforce CRM
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports
- Support Sales Directors with travel arrangements, expense reports, and client communications
- Coordinate regional marketing initiatives with the corporate marketing team
- Assist with website updates and email marketing campaigns
- Create and manage mailing lists using internal databases and external sources
- Support the marketing and promotion of brokerage and pre-owned vessel listings
Event Planning & Execution
- Coordinate client events, boat shows, and sales presentations
- Work with marinas, yacht clubs, vendors, and caterers to plan successful events
- Negotiate contracts and logistics for lodging, catering, and event services
- Prepare promotional materials and event collateral
- Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Support sales efforts during events by greeting guests and qualifying prospects
- Maintain and organize photo libraries for marketing, advertising, and customer presentations
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales best practices, policies, and procedures
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Sales Handbook
