Human Capital Associate

Artisan Partners is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and service-minded professional to join our Human Capital team. This role provides broad exposure across the total rewards function such as benefits, compensation, HR systems, data and reporting, supporting the programs and processes that serve our Associates.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build a foundation across the multiple functions of Human Capital while developing technical depth in our HRIS platform, reporting and process administration. This role will work closely with experienced members of the Human Capital team and will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as proficiency develops.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to:

• Support the administration of Associate benefit programs, including eligibility reviews, enrollments, documentation and other recurring processes
• Assist with compensation-related analysis, data preparation and recurring reporting
• Support open enrollment and annual compensation cycles, including data preparation, system configuration support and testing
• Assist with maintaining Associate and contractor data in the firm’s HRIS, including lifecycle processing such as onboarding, offboarding and ongoing record maintenance
• Support regular data audits, reconciliations and integrity monitoring to help ensure accuracy across Human Capital systems
• Assist with recurring and ad hoc reporting, including helping build dashboards and metrics used by the Human Capital team and firm leadership
• Assist with HRIS administration, including system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and support for upgrades and enhancements
• Support payroll processing and related data activities in partnership with Payroll and Finance
• Assist with employment verifications and support EEO-1 and other compliance reporting
• Support special projects and other Human Capital initiatives based on business needs and demonstrated proficiency

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree or coursework in human resources preferred
• 0–3 years of professional experience; internship or coursework exposure to human resources, benefits, compensation or data analysis is a plus
• Interest in developing expertise in HR systems, data and operations, and in taking on greater HRIS responsibility over time
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• A proactive, resourceful and service-oriented approach, with a willingness to learn new concepts, processes and systems quickly
