Description
We’re looking for a Workday Integration Specialist join us at Telia.
I am Domas Milius, Head of HR IT Solutions Unit and currently looking for new team member to join my international team.
In this role, you will design, develop and maintain integration between Workday and Telia’s internal and external systems. You will work with Workday-native integration technologies, including Workday Orchestrate, and contribute to building reliable, secure and maintainable HR solutions.
Telia uses Workday as a central HR platform, while retaining responsibility for its data, configuration and integrations. Our integration landscape includes Workday APIs, EIB, Studio, connectors, reporting services and different authentication and data-delivery methods.
What you’ll do:
- Designing, developing and maintaining Workday integrations
- Building solutions using Workday Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, Report-as-a-Service, Workday Web Services and other Workday integration technologies
- Supporting and further developing existing Workday Studio integrations
- Using Workday REST and SOAP APIs to connect Workday with internal and external applications
- Applying basic Java knowledge when troubleshooting or developing more advanced integration components
- Analysing integration requirements and selecting the most suitable technical approach
- Creating data transformations using technologies such as XML and XSLT
- Configuring secure file and API-based data transfers, including SFTP, encryption and certificate-based authentication
- Performing technical testing and supporting end-to-end business testing
- Monitoring integration, investigating failures and resolving production incidents
- Documenting integration design, ownership, scheduling, security, data scope and operational support requirements
- Contributing to integration standards, reusable solutions and technical best practices
- Participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and other Agile ceremonies
- Working according to Agile and SAFe principles
- Cooperating with internal security, architecture and data privacy stakeholders to ensure that integrations meet Telia’s security and compliance requirements
The role will place particular focus on creating maintainable solutions and selecting the simplest suitable Workday-native technology, including delivered connectors, EIB, Orchestrate or Studio depending on the complexity of the requirement.
What will help you thrive in this role:
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations or a comparable enterprise integration platform
- Experience with one or more Workday integration technologies, such as Workday Orchestrate, EIB, Studio, Core Connectors or Workday Web Services
- Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON and common integration patterns
- Basic Java knowledge and the ability to understand or troubleshoot Java-based components
- Experience with authentication and secure data-transfer methods
- Understanding of integration monitoring, error handling and operational support
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- Knowledge of SAFe principles and ways of working
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Professional working proficiency in English
Nice to have
- One or more active Workday certifications, especially in Workday Integrations, Workday Studio or related technical areas
- Practical experience with Workday Orchestrate
- Experience supporting integrations in a production environment
- Experience with HR, payroll, identity and access management, finance or employee-data integrations
- Familiarity with Jira, CI/CD practices and structured release management
- Experience working in an international or cross-functional organization

Monthly salary range for this position – 4300-5400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
