About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to join the Consumer Lending Enterprise Marketing Services (EMS) team. This role supports the continued evolution of the marketing and disclosures ecosystem by driving governance, content management, platform integration, and operational excellence initiatives. The position is responsible for enabling compliant and scalable marketing and disclosure processes, supporting modernization efforts across Aprimo, AEM, Naehas, Red Oak, and related platforms, and advancing the Making Disclosures Consumable (MDC) transformation. The consultant will collaborate across business, technology, legal, risk, and vendor partners to deliver strategic solutions, improve operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and ensure the organization is positioned to meet evolving regulatory and business needs. Serve as a key business execution partner supporting disclosure governance, content management, platform integrations, and marketing technology initiatives across the enterprise.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
- Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
- Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
- Partner with business, technology, and vendor stakeholders to analyze requirements, define solutions, and drive the delivery of strategic enhancements across platforms such as Aprimo, AEM, Naehas, CaaS, and Red Oak.
- Lead efforts related to disclosure analysis, content governance, token management, platform connectivity, and process optimization to ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient marketing operations. Develop business requirements, user stories, process documentation, and governance standards while identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for automation and modernization.
- Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of disclosure and integration capabilities, facilitate cross-functional alignment, and provide subject matter expertise to advance disclosure transformation, personalization, content management, and future business initiatives.
- Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
- Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
- Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
- Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
- Collaborate closely with product, technology, and business teams to ensure solutions are operationally sustainable, aligned to enterprise standards, and capable of supporting evolving regulatory, customer, and platform needs.
- Embraces a Lean-Agile Mindset and creates a healthy environment that fosters data driven decisions and collaboration
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior Business Analyst experience working with technology tools to solve business problems
- JIRA experience
- Digital Asset Management experience
- Naehas experience managing disclosures
- Experience with Writing User Stories for assigned Epics & Features in partnership with Scrum Team members.
- Identifies / resolves ambiguities in business requirements and user stories.
- Experience with partnering with Product Owners & BA Lead for clarification on functional and non-functional requirements by ensuring stories are “ready” for the sprint team.
- Ensures User Stories are written and sized in standard format with clear acceptance criteria prior to Sprint Planning
- Monitors quality and requirements traceability of Epics/Features and User Stories.
- Identifies dependencies, risks, and impacted systems across Agile Team Features.
- Translates business process into user stories that can be executed by the scrum team.
- Experience with builds out scrum team backlog in JIRA
- Strong strategic consultation skills, including the ability to assess complex problems, create roadmaps, develop recommendations, and advise leadership.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex initiatives, workstreams, dependencies, and deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to create clarity in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations.
- Experience with consumer banking, consumer lending, financial services products, or other highly regulated business environments.
- High attention to detail, data accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
